Bridget Kelley-Lossada is a writer, educator, mother, and poet-historian who lives with her two sons and husband. She is the granddaughter of an Italian immigrant who taught her how to cook and listen to the trees.
An ardent supporter of arts and arts education for 30 years, Bridget is a history and humanities teacher with an MFA in creative writing, blending poetry and the arts in curriculum design. She leads workshops on cultivating creativity in public and independent schools and personal workshops at home. For the last 15 years, Bridget has had the privilege of leading teachers as a middle school director. Recently, she has returned to teaching and mentoring students at an independent school in Pasadena, CA, to better care for her family.
