Bridget Kelley-Lossada is a writer, educator, mother, and poet-historian who lives with her two (awesome) sons and a fabulous husband. She is the granddaughter of an Italian immigrant who taught her how to cook and listen to the trees.
An ardent supporter of arts and arts education for 30 years, she has been a history and humanities teacher, blending poetry and the arts in curriculum design. She has led workshops on cultivating creativity in public and independent schools and spent 15 years as a middle school director. Currently, she teaches and mentors students at an independent school in Pasadena, CA.
She also collects divination systems. She doesn’t believe divination systems predict the future, but she believes that the universe provides messages to us daily. And sometimes, it is fun to deal the cards, throw the coins, or randomly flip to a poem, prayer, or page of a book. Listen. Listen. Hear it with your eyes.
