This is a cup of coffee, but I am not a coffee drinker. However, ever since the birth of my first son, I have engaged in drinking liquid caffeine often. I used to convince myself that I would only drink the stuff on weekends…as a sort of ‘doing something for myself’ treat. This was a lie. I may not have coffee everyday, but I reach for black tea, coca-cola, dark chocolate…anything with a spot of caffeine. I am hooked. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I shouldn’t imbibe any sort of upper. It just jukes me up way too high and fast.
All this wouldn’t be a problem if my body wasn’t letting me know, under no uncertain terms, caffeine is a big-fat no-no. Too bad too because I *actually* clean my house when I have had a decent cup o’ joe.
